One of the best of 20th Century British musicals drawn from Dickens novel ‘Oliver Twist’, Lionel Bart’s ‘Oliver’ – with special permission from Cameron Mackintosh – relaunched Perth Theatre as a producing theatre following a period as a receiving house. It was fully embraced and rapturously received by the local community and the run was extended to accommodate demand.
